		<description>It&#039;s worth reading about this study in more detail. Please point out that these folks all had type 2 diabetes. This is NOT a concern for anyone with type 1 diabetes.&lt;br /&gt;
Also everyone in the trial already were at risk for cardiovascular disease. There&#039;s a lot more useful reading at the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute&#039;s question and answer page (http://www.nhlbi.nih.gov/health/prof/heart/other/accord/q_a.htm). This was the group that was conducting the trial.&lt;br /&gt;
Yes this is a concern, but I don&#039;t think it&#039;s as dramatic as your summary suggests.&lt;br /&gt;
